Woven wooden block exhibition - ‘WILD

Saturday April 5th 2025
Cowaramup

Woven is holding another wooden block community art exhibition FUNDRAISER in April this year, and
would love it if you would like to participate!

How it works…
All creatives are encouraged to participate… young and old, novice and professional!!
Each artist is given a wooden block on which to create a piece of art in their choice of medium.
Finished artworks are donated to Woven, and offered for sale at the exhibition.

Monies raised from the sale of the art will help Woven to continue to provide high quality, creative
& wellbeing workshops and events, to all in our community. We sincerely appreciate the time and
effort that will go into the creation of these artworks, and we thank you wholeheartedly in advance
for your generosity and support of our community work.

* Woven is supplying these (15cm x 24cm x 6mm MDF)

Artwork details…
* The theme of the exhibition is ‘WILD’ – we can’t wait to see all of the different works of
art that our community produces, and hope you’ll be inspired to get creative!
* Artworks to be completed and dropped back to one of the above outlets by Monday 17th
March
* Artworks are to be signed and suggested price placed on the label please (complete info on back of

We will be holding a special inspirational ‘crafternoon session’ in the lead up to the exhibition at Pioneer Park, Cowaramup from 3.30-5.30pm on Sunday Feb 2nd . The idea behind this session is to support
and inspire all to get involved and have a go at creating a block artwork for the exhibition! A number
of local artists, specialising in varying mediums, will be creating their blocks during the afternoon. If
you feel like you would like to attend this event and be one of those inspiring artists then please
book via the 'Workshops' page.

Stay tuned for more details about the exhibition. Promo will be via our socials, posters around town
and the local paper. If you have any questions, please let us know at wovencowaramup@gmail.com

We thank you all for supporting Woven, and would be so thrilled if you would like to be a part of

‘WILD’ 2025.

We gather today in this special place to continue our learning journey together.  We acknowledge the Wadandi people as the traditional custodians of the land upon which we stand. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their continuing spiritual connection to land, water and community.
