FREE Block Exhibition Inspo Sun 2nd Feb

Local artists will be creating live, then you can create your own wooden block with mediums provided

Pioneer Park, Cowaramup

Service Description

We will be holding a special inspirational ‘crafternoon session’ in the lead up to our community WILD exhibition which will be held on Sat April 5th. This 'crafternoon' session will be held in a local Cowaramup venue from 3.30-5.30pm on Sunday Feb 2nd and is really all about providing some inspiration and an opportunity to start your own wooden block for the exhibition, whilst learning a few tips and tricks from local artists such as Anita Revel and Chloe Wilder. We will be having a number of local artists specializing in varying mediums to be creating their blocks during the afternoon. You will be able to pick up your block, have a squizz at others doing theirs, and get started on your own (or even finish it?!) with a range of mediums available for you to use if you choose (or bring your own to work with!)

We gather today in this special place to continue our learning journey together.  We acknowledge the Wadandi people as the traditional custodians of the land upon which we stand. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their continuing spiritual connection to land, water and community.
